Thinking of renting points and really like the price point for Boardwalk Villas. Any pros and cons to staying there?

Good location with easy transit options (boats, skyliner, walking) to Epcot and HS. Dining options and entertainment on the boardwalk or nearby are good. We loved our two stays there. Easy to get to other nearby resorts (Yacht and Beach Club, Swan & Dolphin, even Riviera now with Skyliner). Depending on your room, you can see some of the fireworks.

Cons are the hallways always seem so long to walk down after a long day at the park. Try to get close to the elevators. Refillable drink station is only at the bakery on the boardwalk so keep that in mind. Counter Service is lacking depending on your food likes but there are options.
If you don't like clowns, the pool may be a negative but I liked it.

If you‘re looking at the cost for the standard view villas, be aware that your chances of getting those as a renter are very slim, even if you have an owner booking at the beginning of the 11 month booking window. Owners like the price point for those too, and they get snapped up almost immediately.

Assume you’ll be getting a pool or Boardwalk view.

If you are looking at this for your next trip in about three months, you probably can forget about it. You need to book a DVC villa on points at seven to eleven months out.

I rented points for our trip in November 2018 (Jersey Week). I found an awesome owner on the rent board here on the Dis. I got a standard view room and it was amazing. The walk to Epcot and DHS was great. DD12 loved the pool. The food choices are great.

I absolutely love the Epcot area so BC and BWV tend to be my favorite resorts.
