Hello everyone,

When visiting WDW, we typically sleep late and leisurely arrive at the parks (around lunch time). For our upcoming trip in May, we will be changing that and arriving at the parks for the rope drops. My question is, what does each park have that should not be missed for the rope drops? Any good tips/suggestions for what our strategy should be? Thanks in advance.

At MK the opening show is great and I try not to miss it. Other than that, by going early, it isn't that crowded and you can get a lot done...of course, depending on the time of year that you go.

Have a wonderful time.

They used to do a fun Rope Drop at Hollywood Studios which included the street performers who are all very funny and with a "Director" I really enjoyed it - but when we went in November it was pretty busy and I think the CM's were all concerned about how everyone was going to get to Toy Story Midway Mania safely so they didn't seem to have any entertainment! Will you be going during Star Wars weekend if so their rope drops are pretty cool!

They still do a modified version of the rope drop show at MGM, but it is still very chaotic trying to control the craziness of the rush to to TSM.
