early or late seating

we would have had for main dining for 11/30 and we are down again for main dining for the 11/8 cruise
Usually we eat dinner at 530/6pm at home so this is staying more on schedule for us

Had 2 early seatings and one late:

Early Pro's:
>Geting dinner out of the way so you're free for other activities
>Seems to be better time for kids going to the clubs afterwards
>Have time to digest before the midnight dessert buffet and mexicalli.... on those nights

Early Con's:
>May have to leave Island earlier to get ready for dinner
>The late showing in the WD Theater is more crowded, if you like to sit up front, you have to go there directly from dinner - and miss the "inbetween" shows

Late Pro's:
>You can stay in the ports longer
>WD Theater less crowded, can arrive a little before show time
>You can go to the "inbetween" show at 7:45, because you have a "saved" seat at dinner
>If you choose to skip a WD Theater show you can stay off the ship even later (ie Cozumel), do the pools or hot tub with less people

Late Con's:
>Dinner can run late and you can miss the "adult" shows
>Teenage activities can conflict with late seating
>Didn't even feel like going to the midnight dessert buffett and we missed the Mexicall... because that was one night our dinner ran really late - mind you we were having a great time enjoying everyones company
>Even if you stay up late, you go to bed stuffed!

On our next cruise we will be having the late seating again - I wonder if we will be seeing our teenager much in the evenings:confused: - you know, that might be another PRO:)

Even tho you are assigned a dinner seating you always have the option of Topsiders
