Early or late holiday tour?

It looks like the times for the holiday tour our week (12/28-12/31) will be 10 and 12:45. Thoughts on whether to do the tour early or late? If we go early then we give up valuable park time with lower (relatively) crowds, but if we go late then we are probably trying to do the tour when it is most crowded and harder to hear the tour guide and move around. What would you all do?

I would do the later tour. You are given headphones to listen to for the tours, so that shouldn't be a problem. We did the tour two years ago, and it was awesome.

When it is most crowded is he exact perfect time to do the tour. Your tour guide will maneuver you through it like a pro and make sure that everyone can hear on the special headphones. It is that tour guide's job to help you have a good experience so use them when they can do the most for you. In the morning, with lighter crowds you can handle it all on your own and easily have your own good time.

I agree, go with the later. It's the best time to ensure you get to have super productive time in the parks despite extreme crowds.
