Which do you prefer? I have an ADR at 8:05 a.m. and another at 10:30 a.m. and I am having a hard time deciding which to cancel.

I'm leaning toward keeping my later ADR because it allows us a little bit of time if we have a late night at Magic Kingdom the night before, it gives us some park time before breakfast to really work up an appetite. I'd also like to see the opening ceremony if we hit rope drop, which we missed on our last trip because we had an early ADR at Tusker. But I don't want to feel like we're being rushed out the door since our timing is so close to the start of lunch.

If you've done both, which did you like better?

Thanks!

we've done both and it really depends on where you are planning to dine... if it's MK, we typically prefer early so we can get our "empty park photo" and are out of the restaurant at rope drop... if it's AK or Epcot or DHS, we opt for "brunch" and hit a bunch of rides, grab a FP or two and then sit down and eat... we have also done late in MK and that was enjoyable, but for some reason, early works better for us there...

now, if the ADR is out of the park at a resort hotel, unless it's a "down day" (or a no park day or a no park morning), we opt for early so we can be at that day's park at or near rope drop!

We did early breakfast at Tusker House last time and by the time we got out into the park, it was really getting busy. This year we are going at a 10:00 breakfast so we figured we would have time to do the safari ride first and then go eat.

We ate at Tusker House late at 10:30 I believe. It was a really good idea. It meant we could get some FastPasses and look around before we had to go and eat. It wasn't full when we ate there either- I think they were starting to prepare for lunch. As soon as lunch started (we were just finishing) it was absolutely packed. I'm guessing it could be the same for an early breakfast, but I'm not sure. :)

I voted late. We did a late Tusker House ADR on our last trip and it worked out great. We're not early risers/rope drop people, so we got to AK, got our FP for the safari, ate breakfast, then used our FP when we were done breakfast. That way you can stay late at MK the night before.:thumbsup2
