Early November?

Quick question...we are looking to go early November. We would be there 10 days through the Veteran's Day weekend. I know the weekend will be busy but will the weekdays? Does Veteran's day affect the week also? We are definitely lower crowd family. I do know that some things will be down for overlays and I'm ok with that, just am looking to avoid really heavy crowds.

Crowds are very low to low from Halloween upto the week of Thanksgiving, with the exception of the weekends.

Also probably in the second week of November they will tape the Chirstmas Day Parade. This doesn't make the park crowded only Main Street and that side of the Hub.

The 10-15 days to take down the Halloween and put up the Christmas decorations are a fine time to visit for crowds. Just know the hours are short, entertainment limited to the weekends, rehabs in progress and a small chance of poor weather(wind, rain, cold or a combo).

In Nov 2010, we were there Sunday - Wednesday, with the next day being Veteran's Day. The parks were empty. The Christmas show was filled that Sunday so Main Street and in front of the castle were packed, so we just stayed in the other areas. We went to Pirates, and the CM was standing there with a boat ready to go for us...absolutely no one in the line. The weather was fine, but it got pretty chilly around 4 pm each day. We didn't go into the park on Thursday/Veteran's Day, but I walked from the hotel to the gate to get a souvenir map. It was very crowded! Such a difference from the day before. The day after Veteran's Day (a Friday) was the official Christmas opening, so there was a little bit of Christmas decoration appearing each morning we were there. I would go again during that time in a heart beat!
