Early November weather?

Does anyone have any clothing tips or insight on the weather for the 1st-2nd week of November? My one and only trip to Orlando was in mid October a few years ago and it was humid and hot, and definitely still shorts and tank top weather. Can I still count on that in November, or should I start thinking about cooler weather clothes? (I'm only bringing a carry-on, so luggage space will be at a premium and I need to start considering packing options!) Thanks!

Early November is right on the cusp of the swing to cooler temperatures. If I recall when we arrived in mid November last year it was still warm.

What I suggest is that you look into the historical average and record high/low temperatures to get a sense of what you might experience. For instance the weather channel says the average high/low for Nov 9th is a pleasant 79F/59F. The record high is 87F but the record low is a chilly 37F.

I might suggest one outfit with enough layers for that cool morning or evening. When the cold front blows through it can be breezy which can make standing around waiting for rope drop or nighttime fireworks a bit cool.
Wishing you a pixiedust: trip!

Historical norms are one thing, actual weather is something entirely different. You can check the weather channel page for historical average temperatures. Just enter Walt Disney World as the location and then select monthly on the menu.

We have gone mid-November on most trips. Being prepared with layers is a good idea. Most days we are comfortable with shorts and a short sleeve shirt & we sat by the pool in the afternoon. If we are out in the early A.M. or at night sometimes a light jacket/ sweatshirt. Occasionally we have worn jeans at night. Since we are coming from the Philadelphia, PA area we always have a pair of jeans and a heavier sweatshirt for coming home. We did have a trip a few years ago when it got cold the last 2 days. DH needed to buy a ski cap and the shops had rolling bars of sweatshirts out. That was the only time we wore our jeans and heavy sweatshirt during the day. The pool bar at POFQ didn't open , they set up shop at the inside lounge which usually doesn't open till after 4:00. Check the long range forcast before you leave home so at least you can have an idea .

We go every Nov and its always been shorts and tee`s for us. We always bring a hoodie just in case it gets cool at night though.

I've been the first weekend in November for the past 5 years. (W&D half marathon)

Mostly nice. The last couple of years, there has been some nasty weather. The years prior, very nice. The one before that, very cold.

Moral - it's Florida. Be prepared.

We always go in early Nov. last year the weather was gorgeous. Shorts and Ts every day. A few years ago we wore jeans and jackets and it was too cold for us to swim. You just never know.

I'm going first and second week of November also, hoping for warmth! Went last year in mid October and it was hot.

We went the beginning of November last year and it was high 70's to 80 during the day and 60's at night. We wore shorts and tee shirts all day and then a fleece jacket at night.

In the sun, the days were hot enough to swim. My kids swam one night even though it was cool because the pool was heated.

I've been to DW in November a few times. All times it was warm enough during the day for shorts and tees and then early mornings/later evenings could be cooler. We always carried a hoodie or a light jacket just in case.

Thanks for the insight, everyone! I'll hope for mild weather but plan for layers just in case!

We too are going late October / Early November. With the above replies in mind, do folk use any particular weather websites that tend to be accurate with the Florida temperatures....?

I used weather.com and it was accurate for the weather we had.
