Early November Travelers! For those arriving Nov 1 ~ Nov. 17

I just booked AllStars Sports for Nov. 1-15th for myself, my sister and my niece (who is a cast member -thanks for the discount!). I got s Wishes dessert party ADR for the 11th and everything else is a "whichever way the wind blows me" kinda plan.

add us to the list for:
Oct 31 to Nov 3 @ POP and
Nov 8 - 10 @ POP
We are boarding the Disney Dream and we have APs so we opted to do a room only ressie since we would be rushing around too much trying to squeeze in TS meals. and since you have to buy tickets to get the free QSP we figured the room discount was a better deal.
Nov 2 is DD's Bday so we will do a nice TS for late lunch and I think I'm going to send her to see LaNouba. She has been dying to do that years!!! she will be so surprised!

I am on that same cruise!!!! Can't wait!

My cruise is not Disney (),but it also leaves 9/22, from Miami. Enjoy your trips!!!::yes::

:thumbsup2

Well, we broke the 60 day barrier yesterday. It really does feel different once you know you are less than 60 days out, doesn't it.

We'll be there 11/1-11/6....do you think we'll get mostly fall decorations or Christmas??

Our last trip was Thanksgiving week, so we got about 90% Christmas decorations :thumbsup2

Supposedly, the MK decorations are changed from fall to Christmas over the course of three days after the last MNSSHP (11/2 this year). I would expect fall decorations 11/1 and 11/2, fall decorations fully or mostly removed on 11/3, and Christmas decorations going up between 11/3 and 11/9 (the first MNSSHP). By then, the only thing likely to be left to do as far as the MK Christmas decorations will be the big tree, which won't go up for weeks.

Outside MK, the Christmas decorations will probably go up more gradually, from what I've heard.

Yes, we have gone this time of year before. It is quite WILD to literally go to the MK on Oct 31st (if it is the last party night...I know this year the last party is Nov 2) and see it decorated for Halloween and then the next morning almost all of the decorations are gone!! And then within a couple of days (about 2) it is completely decked out for Christmas. Now they generally don't start lighting the Castle until the first party night IIRC! Which means I may miss it this year! We leave on the 9th. So if they don't light it the evening of the 8th, I will miss it.

I may be hoping against hope, but I really feel like we might get to see even a tiny bit of some of the new stuff,...I have a hard time believing they won't be testing & trying out wait staff, line flow, and all the things that make it run so smoothly farther out in Nov than what is being announced. That's a lot to coordinate and expect to work with the amount of people that come in for Thanksgiving week. But, we'll see I guess. I am not going to be disappointed if it doesn't work out that way,...but super happy if it does!!!
We hit 59 days today!!!! Can't wait!!
