Early Morning Magic?

Disney Early Morning Magic will take place on select dates from 7:45 to 10 a.m. beginning April 26. The dates are different from those during which hotel guests get Extra Magic Hours at the park.

This indicates that for those of us staying on site we still get to have our for free.
I never said they were going away I stated it was a rumor that they would be.

According to their website, in Sept they are offering EMM on Tuesday's - the same night as the MNSSHP. So You get to pay an extra $69 pp for three rides AND have the bonus of get kicked out at 7:00pm when the halloween party starts. NO THANKS!!!!:headache:

Well there's an obvious answer to not getting kicked out...buy a $100 per person Halloween Party ticket. Problem solved :)

Still too rich for my blood !!! I do kinda like the FP+ when combined with DAS but still nothing like the gone forever GAC . See I travel with groups of Special needs and those GAC cards were wonderful. But I saw how they were abused !!

Too rich for my blood, but that picture of the Peter Pan line is pretty inspiring.

I've walked straight on to Pan before just by going at rope drop (probably depends what time of year). I mean an actual walk on, not "I only had to wait 5 minutes to get on".

Not worth the money for me, but I won't be surprised if it does quite well.

Disney will be the first to tell you that that's what the people want...

Just wanted to check in and report our experience at EMM last week. Like most folks, I'm sure, SDMT was the selling point on this event for us. However, when we arrived on 5/31, the ride was down with no promises that it would even open during EMM. Small world was operating in its place. (Hardly a fair trade off, IMO!!!) We were told that our event wristbands would allow us unlimited access to SDMT via the FP line until noon, but as we had other plans due the morning, that didn't help our family, personally. Nor does the FP line offer the speed of "continuous riding" that others attending the event have reported. We checked back at 8:30 and it was operating, so we did manage to get in a few rides before the event ended, but seemed like everyone else was trying to do the same thing by that point, so we were definitely waiting. The food was excellent and there were definitely a limited number of people in attendance, but the main attraction being down for half of the limited time event definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. This is the first "up charge" event we've done at Disney that I felt I didn't get my money's worth (and we've done plenty!).

Small world was the only ride they opened in place of 7dmt??? I can hardly handle ONE ride on that, let alone ride after ride like EMM is supposed to be about. Crazy! When this happened on another morning, I heard they opened the carousel, tea cups, and one other ride (maybe Small World), along with making the wristbands good for 7dmt through noon. That sounds like a much more equitable trade-off, imo. Sorry you didn't feel you got your money's worth! Your experience will play into how we plan our day if we do EMM though. I'll be sure to leave the morning open just in case 7dmt isn't running during EMM so we'll be able to take advantage of the fastpasses if need be.

There should have been an offer for a refund.

Yep, just small world (carousel is now an included attraction). I realize there aren't many "thrill" rides in MK, but opening another coaster or multiple rides would have sat better with me.

I did send an email to guest services when we got home, but no response yet (other than the canned "we have received your email") message. Not much they can do for us now, but hoping they can make the situation better for others if this happens again.

I emailed them awhile back about price increases, they called me back. Id honestly be surprised if they didn't call you back.

I didn't realize they've upped it to 4 attractions instead of 3. I guess that makes sense if they're also increasing the number of tickets sold (as I've heard rumored but not yet confirmed).
