I didn't realize that this event shows up as a 'meal' when I booked it for later this summer. So...for those of you who have experienced the breakfast associated with the event, can you tell me what was available? I can't find a definite menu for it. ...and for one member of my party in particular...are there bagels? :scratchinThanks!!

This is from the page. :) https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/dining/early-morning-magic/

Plus, in addition to rising with the sun for some early-morning fun, you can also get your fill of a fantastic breakfast at Pinocchio Village Haus—featuring such scrumptious breakfast fare as:

  • Chilled juices, coffee and teas
  • Seasonal fruit and berries
  • Freshly baked pastries
  • Cheese and cured meats
  • Scrambled eggs with assorted toppings
  • Vegetable frittata
  • Smoked bacon
  • Pork and chicken sausages
  • Fried potatoes with caramelized onions
  • French toast
  • Assorted yogurts

So glad to see that the meats are 'cured'. That means they are no longer 'sick'! Always a positive! Thanks ErinsMommy. ...hoping bagels are part of the 'freshly baked pastries'...but...???

The breakfast is actually really good and you can go back as many times as you want during the EMM hours. We grabbed fruit and coffee first thing, then popped in for an actual sit-down breakfast, rode more stuff, and grabbed more coffee before it was over. I don't remember if there were bagels - I don't think so.

I second that the food is actually reasonably good. Not great, but surprisingly good for Disney standards. Love the CM's there, both EMMs we've been to have been a very pleasant experience.

So $69 for adults and $59 for kids but it gets you in at 745 when park opens at 9... seems steep for an hourish in the park.

Edit: I don't want that to sound as negative as it sounded. If there are more advantages than 1:15 in the park and breakfast I'm listening. I was looking at 8-22 where 7:45 event start and hours reflect 9 am park opening. Perhaps this is a better value when park hours vary?

We actually thought it was the best thing we did on our last trip. Everyone was super friendly and welcoming. We were able to ride SDMT like 10 times. We were able to ride Winnie the Pooh and Peter Pan over and over without even getting off. We stopped in as frequently as we wanted for coffee and drinks. It was the first morning they were offering the photo op with the Cinderella Carriage, so because of EMM we were the first ones to get our pictures and the line was crazy the rest of the day. When the park opens for regular hours, you can hop onto a bunch of other attractions before the crowds arrive. We rode It's a Small World, Haunted Mansion and Thunder Mountain with zero wait. The breakfast goes until 10am, and no one else is allowed into the restaurant at that time (they check for wristbands). So once it gets to be 9:30-9:45 you can still eat. They never stopped replenishing the food and encouraged everyone to come back for more. It was a great experience, and we got some cool photos in Fantasyland with no other people in them. Worth it.

Now the sales pitch to the fam to get up that early begins... I'm sold!

Oh, and we were told the breakfast food is made at Be Our Guest and brought over to Pinocchio Village Haus (if that makes a difference to anyone).

To anyone that has done this, is main street and the castle area empty, other than the people who paid for the EMM? Hoping to take some empty park pictures and the price would then be worth it to me if that were the case.

We did the one at DHS and the one at MK.
The DHS had more value for US and the food was much better.
DS enjoyed the MK one because he likes food buffets :rotfl:
We likely won't do it again, there wasn't enough of an advantage.
We actually didn't even get in to the park by 7:45 and still had a long walk.
MK now opens early for all to enter Main St & the Hub early, I'd do that for photos.

Here is the food -

We did not get in at 7:45, more like 7:50 and by time we got back to New Fantasyland, through a second check to leave the HUB, we had closer to an hour extra. And Main Street / HUB open at 8 am so you can be right at the entry to the land you want to enter before 9.

C'mon @HopperFan, have you learned nothing from Josh? You always have to tilt the camera for food pics. Look at your last pic compared to the others. :lmao::lmao::duck:

So things are a bit different now with the new MK opening procedures for 9AM openings. I did two EMMs last year (under the old rope drop system) and we were let in around 7:40ish for both. The EMM folks and PPO ADR are let in at the same time. Once everyone cleared we had reasonably clear shots of Main Street, but never totally empty. But we didn't want to linger too long, we wanted to get to Fantasyland and get our $ worth of rides.

Now, Main Street opens to everyone from 8-9AM. I've read different reports of the EMM/PPO ADR crowd still getting in at 7:45 while the non-EMM/PPO ADR crowd is held until 8AM (giving the EMM/PPO ADR folks a 15 minute advantage) and I've read reports of everyone getting in at 7:45ish. Not sure if there have been enough EMM's yet with the new opening procedure to really have a solid track record (??), but maybe someone who has done it can comment.

This still wouldn't stop me from doing it though, we really enjoyed this event and thought it was $ well spent.

Josh has been a real bite in the .... he either got a new camera or recently got really good at his shooting. :teeth: Making me feel inferior and jealous.

I too have nice cameras but I've tired of dragging them around all the time - wish I lived down the street - and so this was my OLD iPhone with it's have dead camera. Maybe I'll upgrade my phone this summer or haul a camera with me ....
