So as luck would have it, our pre-park opening Breakfast ADR at BOG is on 4/26, the start of Early Morning Magic in Fantasyland.

How is this new thing going to effect people that have these pre park opening ADRs? If I get done with breakfast before regular opening, am I going to be kicked out of the park? Forced to stay at BOG? Told to go somewhere other than Fantasyland? Seems like a logistical nightmare...

You should be fine other than you will not be getting that pre-park ride on 7DMT.
Only EMM folks with stickers will have access until 9 am.

And given past experiences rope droppers will be through the gate and to 7DMT by 9.
So I would be heading to the SB line of the ride I would like to go on when it opens.

I'm in the same boat. But I wonder how many people will really pay over 250 dollars for an extra hour in the park.

L O T S of them.

Look how many pay a TON to:
Eat 4 desserts and watch a free MK fireworks show.
Eat 4 desserts and watch a free Epcot fireworks show.
Eat 4 desserts and watch a free DHS fireworks show.

Sit in a boat and watch a free MK fireworks show.

(I could go on, but you know the list.)

I hope so. I didn't book BOG with the intent of getting on 7DMT early, so that won't effect me at all. I just didn't want to be forced out of the park again or held at BOG after I was done eating. Thanks for the reply.

No reason for them to hold you back, it's why they are giving them stickers to wear.

You just won't be allowed on attractions. The Disney website on EMM explains the process.

But in fairness to OP, it only explains what happens to the folks who buy the Magic Package. It doesn't address someone with a PPO ADR who might be done eating at 8:30. It's new, it's exclusive ... it may come off highly restrictive to folks. It explains they can't get on those rides until 9. Sometimes other rides open earlier than 9 so they could go get on one of those or just head to whereever they were heading.

How do you think this will affect pre park opening breakfasts on days without this event? Any chance those people might still get an early ride?

GOOD POINT! Just seems crazy to me.

The popularity of 7DMT is a driving force here but honestly this is just the tip of what can come .... practice.

Imagine how fast they could sell these for -

- Avatarland
- Toy Story Land
- Star Wars Land
- Maybe even Frozen Land

And why not? They keep their promise that FP+ is free but they won't turn down that money if they offer it creatively like they do now with Robo's examples.

Good point. The FAQs at the bottom talk a little about the stickers, etc. It will take some getting used to for people who expected to go on pre-rd attractions. And I agree, it is highly restrictive.

Just saw the FB post from the DisneyBlog about this. I'm thinking what's next for our April trip!!! We have an early BOG ADR on the 24th and 28th. With this starting and the recent breakfast price increase at BOG we will likely cancel our ADR on the 28th.

I actually have been wondering if both this and the evening event are a test for how they want to handle those new "lands".

I wonder if they'll let the people with stickers enter the FP line from 9-10. I'm sort of surprised that's not a stated part of the deal.

Yes, for folks who knew enough to book the PPO ADR but don't track this kind of stuff or what it might mean ..... could be some ugly moments for CMs at these rides. :sad2:

In April, this event is only on the 26th and 30th - your ADRs should be fine.

I don't see how they can do this. The exclusivity ends at 9 am. I suppose they could still let them into the FP line, but I'd be upset if I were there at RD (or standing in the SB line after my BOG breakfast) and seeing a swarm of people getting off the ride and right back on. The fine print explicitly says event-only access ends at 9.

I would not be happy with it either. But I'm still surprised they're not doing it.

Ooph...you just inspired a cringe from me as I imagined an underpaid, overworked CM getting yelled at by parents...poor guys :-( Makes me for sure want to say double thank you every time I interact with them!

Everything about this has been advertised as limited availability. I don't foresee swarms of people based on the marketing.
