We're staying at Paradise Pier Sunday-Wednesday, June 3-6 and have the 3 day park hopper. We received our tickets this week and they say on the back that we're allowed early entry only one day. I thought as a guest of the Disney hotel we'd get early entry every time it's offered...that being Monday and Tuesday of our trip, if we want. Have they changed the policy?

We're leaving tomorrow for DGC, so I called yesterday and asked that same question. The short version is, they dont really know. The woman on the phone said to talk to the front desk about it when we check in.

This has happened to us before, and we have been able to use the EE whenever we wanted to, so I'm not too worried. But I would suggest checking with the hotel directly if you are really concerned.

FYI, Early Entry is only available a few (I think it is 3) mornings a week.

Sorry I dont have a more difinitive answer -- this is a really confusing subject for them.

I recently asked this question here and at another board and everyone said you can still use early entry every day available if you are staying at the resort.

Your ticket doesnt say it because its a standard ticket that anyone, staying at any property could purchase. The extra EE days are a hotel perk. And, yes, its still being offered.

Yes you can use it all days offered while staying on the property. At the hotel they give you a little paper that shows the dates your staying. You take that paper and your tickets to EE and they will let you in all the days. :)

From what I understand, when you're staying at a DLR hotel you get EE everyday that it's offered but I believe it's not an "official" thing so that's probably why the hotel can't confirm it for you over the phone. With any 3day or more hopper you get one EE day regardles of whether your staying onsite or not so that's why it says that on the tickets.

mmmears, PLEASE post back here when you find out for sure (or when you return). Many of us who spent extra hoping to have this perk would be grateful to know what your experience was.

& btw - EE is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday

Thanks,

hound

I figure Sunday will be busy, but Monday and Tuesday hopefully will be manageable. Sunday is the day for shows and fireworks while Monday and Tuesday for rides. We've been to WDW a few times and this trip to Disneyland is a "not rush around" kind of trip.

We are going the 2nd thorugh the 8th and are hoping for the same thing as this is our first trip staying on site and we have 5 nights booked starting Sunday at the Grand californian.

So we just got back from GCH. At checkin, I asked about the EE mornings, since there were 2 during our 3 days there. The CM at registration told us to show our 3DPHs, our room keys, and the little slip of paper they gave us for room charges at the gate and said we had unlimited EE mornings while we were there.

At the gate we noticed that our 3DPHs, which I had ordered to be ready for pick-up at the hotel, stated on the back that we were resort guests and we had unlimited EEs.

At any rate, no-one ever questioned us on our early entries. It was nice that the passes had it printed on them, plus if you order them ahead of time from the hotel they are $20 less than at the gate and we didn't have to stand in line.

Hope this helps!

mmmears....Thank you for the update. We arrive this Sunday. :thumbsup2

Have a great time!

And make sure to use those EE mornings, too, since we were able to do so much more on those 2 mornings than the one regular entry morning we had there. It's such a huge benefit of staying on the property to get to use them all!

I'm a firm believer of EE. We'll be in line 20-30 min. prior to each EE opening.

(I'm one of those annoying posters who jumps in to all EE posts to tell folks if they don't use it they're crazy. :rotfl: )

We just got back on Sunday. We stayed at the PPH and upon check in they told us that we get EE everyday that it's offered. On our 3rd day of using EE, they told us at the gate that we had used up all our EE's but asked if we were staying at one of the Disney Hotels. They then asked for the little slip that they give you upon check in and off we went. Definately use EE - we were able to do so much in that one hour. One thing that did peeve me was that on two of the EE days, they were 10 mins late opening the gate.
