Early Morning Flights out of CDG

I originally had a flight out of CDG at noon on July 5th, however I just recently found out that my flight has been moved to 9am.

I originally checked the sticky information thread and decided to use the TGV to get to the airport. But now with such an early flight, TGV and VEA do not seem to be options.

So my question to the group is how do I get to CDG? I assume that since it is an international flight, I should get to the airport no later than 6:30am. Is a car service my only option?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

it is about 90euro if i remember our taxi we had booked never turned up so missed the bus and the SL had to call a taxi which cost 90euro could you not get an evening flight?? and make the most of the day in the park..

Trust me I tried to get a later flight but was out of luck. 90 Euro? Ouch - that is going to hurt. Any other options out there?

You are really not having much choice. If you are flying to the US, you will have some very long lines and several security checks (every time I fly out of CDG I am glad that I am NOT flying to the US that day)

So you definitely want to get there early.

Earliest TGV runs about 720am, earliest VEA about 8am I believe. Shuttle service is your only option, unless you choose to book a room at the airport the night before, or take an early RER/metro/RER to CDG (but even that will necessarily get you there on time, and will be long and somewhat confusing if you have not done that before)

The shuttle is really your only option.

Edited: you don't mention your carrier, but since your flight time changed substantially, you may want to check for a CDG-MUC-USA flight, if your carrier does that routing and allows a routing change due to a schedule change. FRA is not great for an American to connect but CDG-FRA-USA or CDG-LHR-FRA would work as well, if it was later.

Thanks for the tips and feedback. I am flying on frequent flier miles so Delta will only allow me to fly on Delta operated flights. Unfortunately for me that leaves one flight for the entire day - 9am. So no extra time in the parks and no time to take mass transit to the airport .

But I will be at DLRP so it will be a good time anyway !

Sorry that you won't be able to work anything out. I started taking the later Lufthansa flight (ie 9am) because of the lack of transport. But of course I don't need to be at CDG as early for that flight as you would for yours to the US.
