I have an early morning flight out of Orlando... 7:20 AM. Since, I'm flying out of the country, I know I'll have to be there by 5:00 AM at the latest.... ugh! I was wondering how busy the airport will be on a Saturday morning and which of the towncar services would be best for an airport drop off. I've been reading the different poss and Mears doesn't like it will be too reliable....

TIA! :p

Don't know if this would work for you but we also had a 7:20 flight out on a Saturday morning a couple of weeks ago. I was surprised at how busy the airport was--it was packed. We decided based on the recommendations of many on these boards to stay at the Hyatt in the airport. Let me just say that for us it was a dream come true. We had rented so we were able to take care of all that the night before. After we checked in we went for a very relaxing swim in their rooftop pool. In the morning after a restful night's sleep, all we had to do was roll out of bed and go down the elevator and we were instantly in line to check our luggage and go thru security. The hotel is very nice and for us, the peace of mind was well worth it. I highly recommend this to anyone with an early morning flight.

Thanks for the advice Cookie55! I'm definitely going to look into that option. How were the lineups at the airport? When I had an early morning flight last May, we were in the security line for about 15-20 minutes, but that was around 6:00 AM and not a Saturday.

Of course mine was a domestic flight but we were in line for security for appox 30-35 min. The longer line in our case was to check our luggage with Delta. If it hadn't been for my husband's Silver Medallion status with Delta (which allowed us to get in a much shorter line) we might have missed our flight. That line was endless--still not sure why. Hope you have a great trip!

I agree with the other posters.

Save yourself worry and stay at the Airport the night before or at least at one of the nearby airport hotels just a couple miles away.

I have been to MCO many times, but our last trip in January turned out to be wait, wait, wait, with all the new security going-on.
