Early MK ADR and meeting princesses

We have an 8:05am ADR for CRT. I've read that we should be able to be done by the time park opens, if so, I would think we'd be one of the first on line to meet Rapunzel since the M&G is right by the castle. Anyone have experience with this, I'd like to skip it as a FP and hit it right at RD. If we do this, will we waste to much of the early morning ride time that makes RD so essential? TIA!

Inside the MK there are ropes to prevent anyone from getting to the attractions until the park officially opens. You can get up to the castle but not far beyond that. With an ADR you go to the extreme left at the park's entrance and scan your ticket/band and your reservation will grant you early entrance to the park. You then can proceed down mainstreet and to the CP to eat. But about ten mins before the park opens, everyone is allowed into the park and then everyone spreads out into the lands they wish to visit first. Each land is blocked off with a rope, and then at park's official open time you can proceed on to Fairytale Hall and get into the standby line for Rapunzel or any other Princess you wish to see. If you are in the park early because of an ADR your advantage would be that you can get to the ropes first, but you cannot get past that. So once everyone is thre and the ropes are opened, it would be equal footing to proceed to Fairytale Hall.

Rope drop will be the best time to see Rapunzel without having to utilize a FP+. And if you want to see Rapunzel and NOT Anna & Elsa, you most certainly will be okay as far as getting in and out and still have plenty of time to utilize your rope drop advantage. The push to Fairytale hall will be for people lining up for A & E. For Rapunzel first thing in the morning you should be in and out rather quickly.
