Early May Weather temps?

I wasnt sure what board to post this on....

Its been quite a while since weve been to FL in early May. What are the average temps like? I remember we were melting one day at the parks, but was really pleasant for the most part?

We want to spend a couple days by the pool... so trying to make sure it will be warm enough!!! (hopefully 80s?)

We were there at the beginning of May this year. The weather was beautiful. Most days were very warm and sunny. I think there was only 1 thunderstorm the whole time. We found the humidity to be high at times but then again we were coming from a cool spring in the Canadian prairies so we weren't used to it.

We were in the pool every day too. It was a great way to take a break from the parks.

We have always gone the 1st or 2nd week in may. It is very warm, mid 80's to low 90's every time.

We were there this year May 8-15th...it was 85 with a nice breeze and very sunny...PERFECT!! I did not think the humidity was too bad (except at MGM with the dark black asphalt)...the only rain we had was one night right at 10pm as we were walking out of EPCOT to the bus (although this is unusual)...it rained HARD for about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes. This was our first May visit but my husband and I both agree that it will not be our last...the weather and the crowds were wonderful! I hope you have fun!!
