We are looking at going to DL in March. Thinking March 1-6. Is 4 days in the park too much or should we save some money and just do 3 days?

How are the crowds during that time, Thursday-Sunday. Will the weekends be unbearable. Trying to work around DVC availability and best flight prices.

The weekends will be more crowded, but not what I consider unbearable, if the weather is nice since locals might be enjoying the park before block outs. You should check the school break schedules posting to see if anyone is having their spring break then. Your dates are about a week before my spring break so its not out of the realm of possibility that it's a part of the spring break season. You're also about a week ahead of the natural products expo which makes for major crowds so that's good but i'm not sure of other possible conventions.

Also I think 4 days is great. Im headed out for 5 days in the parks tomorrow!

Thank You! Hopefully they will work out.

We did early March this year. Crowds weren't a problem at all for us. A little busy in the evening, but only bothersome at parade/fireworks time. One night we still managed thunder mountain 6 times in a row, nearly a walk on, after the parade. We did RSR 4 times in a row one morning and toy story twice in a row another morning.

Sounds perfect! Think it will work out. We have been before in June and sept.

I much preferred it over our June trip!! Even with the rain we had. It was cooler, less closures (though that doesn't really remain the same year to year necessarily), and the crowds weren't as bad as grad night.

I was under the impression that VGC were always booked up at the 7 month mark, but that could be wrong since I don't own DVC?

It's been a while since I visited in early March, but the two times I have been then there was a cheerleading convention on the weekends, which made the crowds a lot heavier (but definitely still manageable) you might want to just double check whether that's still happening?

Usually not always and depends on what kind of room you want. we want 1 bed or 2 beds and both are available.

Early March is spring break season for us. Ours is actually late (end of March into first week of April), but any week in March can be spring break time. Depends on the school.

I'd go 4 days - more magic.

That has happened to us during that time too-ugh the crowds swell, and the hotels were very noisey at night.

I think this year they were held elsewhere.

Ok, I checked. All stars were in LA, HS and college was in Anaheim.
