Hi all. We tried Universal for the first time this past October, stayed at RP and had a great time. We're thinking about a trip in early March since Easter isn't until April 20 this coming year. Any comments as to crowd level and weather? Is it warm enough to swim? Thanks!!

Mardi Gras at Universal Studios starts the end of February and goes thru April 11th. When your going I believe it'll be just on the weekends. The parks can become extremly crowded especially with the weekend concert series going on. During the week in March shouldn't be a big deal. It'll probably be a bit chilly during that time. I wouldn't count on going swimming.

if the pools are heated, then you'll be good to go. early march is often a little chilly, but tolerable. my sister says march is "in like a lamb, out like roast lamb"

We went last yr mid-march on a Mon. I was really surprised at how empty the parks were. The longest wait we has all day was 30 min for the hulk... and it wasn't even the 30 min. like they posted. Maybe it was just a fluke but we did both IOA and Universal studios in one day. We rode dueling dragons 3x in a row...just got right back on. When we went , the temps were in
the 80's. This was around March 17th 2002.
