Early June or mid July ?

We're considering visiting June 6 through June 13 or holding off untill July.
Is there a significant difference in the crowds between those 2 periods ? The official schedule would lead me to believe parks are less crowded before June 13th, based on park hours and spectromagic/fantasmic times.

We went in August last time and had a very trying time dealing with the crowd level . . . . .

Everything is much less crowded in early June. Southern schools get out in late May/early June, but many northern schools go until almost the end of June. We have gone right after school was released a couple of times and found the crowds very light.

I believe you'll also find lodging rates lower in the first two or three weeks of June. It might even be a bit cooler.

Besides being less crowded (definitely is), iwe've found it to be slightly cooler and that it rained less in June.

Based on our past experience, you're good anytime in June - the crowds really don't hit until July 4th.

We've gone many times in the last week in June thru early July and have not had the crowds you find in mid-summer.
