I was Just wondering what do you guys think the crowds will be like Jan. 1-5?

I've never been at that time but I am planning on going at the beginning of January this year. From what I can tell......it seems as though it may still be kinda crowded (but not REALLY crowded) until the end of the weekend. I think that Sunday is the 4th. After that, I get the impression that the crowds will disappear. We are planning on driving down on the 2nd, and going to a water park on Saturday the 3rd (weather permitting) so that our first park day will be on Sunday the 4th--hopefully the crowds will be gone by this time.

We are going those dates also except departing on the 6th . will be staying at the ASM:Pinkbounc

Hi,

Last year we went from Jan 2-9. The firswt 3 days were crowded, and then crowds tapered off nicely.

I would suggest go to Magic and Animal Kingdoms at the END of your trip.

Also, we are prepared for the cold , but not the DAMP cold that prevails in Fla in the winter. We are used to low humidity here in MN. during the winter. So on cloudy days and/or when the sun set, we were chilly.Take some lightweight knit gloves along.

Have fun.,

herc.

I am also going at this time...checking in All Star Sport on the 3rd, leaving the 10th...hoping for good weather and little crowds! ::MinnieMo

Things sound pretty good for our Jan 4- 11 trip. The weather won't bother me, it'll be a nice change of pace to experience DW all bundled up! Can't wait for the New Year!
