Early January advice

Timely thread! I'm looking at a potential trip in that first week of January 2024, but the website isn't allowing any bookings past December 31 -- is that a temporary thing? A glitch on my end? We would want to catch the holiday overlay (for the first time) before my kids have to go back to school -- but I can't figure it all out unless I can attempt the booking!

I wish I could help you out more but here is what we experienced while we were in the parks this last Jan 9-13. The HM overlay was still up. Best overlay IMO. The big Christmas tree by the Fire Station was up until about the 12th. I believe there was some other decorations up here and there but I am a dude and have been accused by my wife of not paying attention to all the details...

DLR doesn’t open up the next year until about mid-August or so. It’s not you; it’s just not open yet.

I am waiting for DLR to open for the beginning of January too. Will there be some sort of notice they intend to open the reservations or will I just need to keep checking?
