early for PS?

has anyone ever been early for their PS time (I know they ask you to check in about 5-10 min. before the PS time). Has anyone ever checked in earlier than that (say, 20-30 minutes), and if so, are you generally kept waiting until your ps time or seated anyway? thanks for any insight.

It depends. Sometimes we have been seated shortly after arriving, before our real PS. Other times we have had to wait an additional 10-15 minutes after our PS. Once we had to wait nearly an hour after our PS at the Crystal Palace.

Last summer we tended to turn up much earliar than our ps was for. We arrived at Garden Grill resturant in Epcot over an hour before our ps and we were seated without a problem.

Sometimes if we get hungry early...we have headed to the restaurant as early as an hour before to see if they can take us then. We just tell them our ps is at...but, do they have room for us now. If the restaurant isn't totally booked we usually have no problem getting in with just a short wait. (minutes)
