Good Morning :sunny:

My DS10 and I are flying home after our cruise at 11:45am. Has anyone used DCL transfer for a flight that is this early? What time do you usually get to the airport using the DCL transfers?

Thanks for the help. Seems like I have a new question everyday :confused3 :confused3 .

Check with your DCL rep and see what they recommend.
I personally wouldn't book a flight prior to 1 PM.

Unless you are one of the first to disembark, you could be cutting it close.

I had the same flight, I assume Delta, in December. I did not want to take the chance of missing the flight so I booked a towncar and had no problems catching my flight. What worried me that morning is usually, without problems, they open the doors at 7:30ish to let you leave, that morning is was around 8. By the time we collected our luggage and went through customs, it was a little before 8:30. My towncar came at 8:45 and we were good to go. We also ate a sit down breakfast that morning, so theoretically, we could have been closer on line to the door, but it all worked out. You'll have to make the judgement call yourself. Good luck! :earsboy:

We had a 12:50 flight the Sat after Thanksgiving.....we had late seating and made it to ATAs waiting area by 10:20....should be no problen..

11:45 is cutting it a little close for my comfort, but we would have made this flight on all of our cruises, so it's really a matter with how comfortable you are with the chance you may miss the flight. If everything goes to plan, you should make it easily. We always use the DCL transfers and are usually to the airport and through security by 10:00am. We eat breakfast early and get off the ship soon after they clear it. You don't have to be scrambling, but you can't really dally, either.

The worry is that something happens which causes the ship to get in late. It doesn't happen all that often, but it is a possibility. I personally don't mind sitting in the terminal reading a book, so usually go with a flight at around 12:30 or so.

Having said all that, I think the chances are very good that you'd make the 11:45 flight.
