Early Entry

We purchased a two-day ticket when we went to US/IOA in 2000. We only used one day and we're planning to use the other this year. Back in 2000, a two-day ticket allowed you early access to the park. Is this still the case? We'll be there in a week-and-a-half. Does this occur then? If it does, how early can you enter the park? Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

They did away with early entry. Sometimes the parks open early, but nothing official.

I did read something on the Universal website the other day about something called SuperHero Hour.....or something like that. It was "exclusive early admission" to the parks. I don't know who it was available to (resort guests/vacation package purchasers) But I do remember it started in Late June.

I just checked out the Universal website and none of the links to the info work......once I can get to it, I'll post the info.

The early admission links are here in the ticket section.

It's for guests staying onsite 3 nights or more.

The best idea is to just be at the gate at 8:30am, parking garage opens at 8am, and there are cars waiting. IOA usually opens at 08:45am (not official), and you get a front seat ride on Hulk to start the day. Then to Spiderman, and Dr. Doom, all before 9am. Then it's on to Deuling Dragons for the front seat on each side, then the water rides, all walkon.

That's the unofficial early entry for IOA.
