I will be heading to the parks august 25th and 26th. I got an email from universal because I have an annual pass and they always send out emails each month, and this time it said something about early entry for this month for rip rockit and minion mayhem. My question is, what time do I have to be there for the early admission if the parks open at 9am those two days? Is there anything special I have to do to get in, or do I just show my annual pass? Any information would be helpful!!

We went August 9th just for that day. We were at the gates around 7:40am. They have you go through on the left side and you just show them your APs. This special is good for all APs which was nice because I have the preferred and my son has a power and we had no problems getting in. Rode both rides 2 times in that hour. Could have done more in that time frame but we started to head over to other areas to look around.

Wow, that's awesome! I wasn't sure if there was some long process in order to get into early entry. It says in my email that it's for rip rockit and minion mayhem...does this mean that those are the only two rides operating at the time before the gates open to the public?

Yup.

I read at *************** that early entry for USF has stopped. Can anybody confirm this?

And at IOA some people suggest to do Forbidden Journey first thing, others to do Dragon Challenge first a couple of times. What are your experiences?

If you really care about being in the front row, DC may be your bet... I wouldn't personally recommend this though, because DC takes Express Pass all day and generally does not have that long of a line.

If you want to see the Ollivander's Wand Experience, do this first. It does not take EP, gets long early in the day and stays long.

If Forbidden Journey is the most important to you, do this first. During busy season, waits for this can be at an hour even before the park is open to all guests. Peak wait time is around 120 minutes. However, if you're going during a slow season FJ may not get above a 30 or so all day, and therefore it is better to do Ollivander's first.

Have fun! :)

I'm pretty sure early entry for passholders has ended...that was an August special only. I'm not sure if onsite guests still get early entry into the Studios.

I'm not seeing it on any of the information on the UO website, so I assume it was up until Labour Day only.

I was wondering the same thing - if onsite guests get early access to US. Would love to get on rockit a few times. Minion - I'm not too woried about with express passes and all.

Going down tomorrow so I guess I'll find out.

the early entry is for shrek, despicable me that i am aware of.

didn't do RRR so unaware of that ride for the early entry.

peeps that buy the character breakfast at La Bamba, get early entry.
