Early entry?

If you stay on points in Disneyland, do you get early entry to the parks on scheduled days? What about toontown morning madness or something>?

Yes, when you stay onsite - including in the Villas - you will get early entry on all days it's available. Toontown morning madness requires purchasing a particular type of ticket AFAIK and isn't an onsite related event.

When I was there last year, they allowed resort guests into the park 1 hour early. The let regular day guests in 1/2 hour early, but they were limited to main street. To get past main street in that half hour, you had to be a resort guest.

Anyone staying at resort properties will receive early entry on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. The early entry is also available to guests off property if they have a multi-day ticket...I believe it must be 3+ days and those tickets are only for one day of early entry of their choosing.

As the pp noted, Toontown Morning Madness requires an additional ticket, usually obtained from a package. We have btdt, and you aren't missing anything, IMO.
