Early Entry transportation issue

Can you take a car to the major parks during ee or are all the parking lots closed? I know as a Disney guest I'm allowed to use Disney's transportation system but if I want to go by car I would like to know it's possible. I wasn't sure if this belongs on the transportation board.

Yes, the parking lots are open on EE days, getting in early by car has never been a problem for us. We often prefer to drive, especially when we get out to the bus stop in time to see the bus pulling off & know that waiting for the next one will make getting up that early pointless. (The buses follow different routes. One trip to MK from Old Key West took 15 minutes, the next took almost 40-it's one way they stagger the crowds!!)
