Early entry to the park

Can you get early entry into the park by staying at a Disney hotel, or do you have to buy a package which includes early entry?

Staying in one of the three Disney Hotels automatically grants you Early Entry privlages on mornings it is offered - usually everyday except Sun & Weds.

DL is cutting Early Entry/Magic Mornings sometime later this year.

The hopper tickets on the disney website are suppose to come with one day of early entry.
