Excited to have EE back! However: Radiator Springs Racers is a must-do, super-headliner for our family; every DCA-start day, we're first through the gate and go straight there (we could ride it 2-3x back-to-back with MM/EMH, or since covid, we'd rope-drop it for our one daily ride).

But it's not part of EE anymore. 😡

So: Do EE guests generally spend their time hitting WS, Guardians, etc., and *then* go over to RSR, or do a bunch of people burn their EE time waiting to rope-drop RSR to at least get to it before the regular crowd?

I just don't have any handle on what the scene is like during EE. I feel that, as annoying/wasteful/stupid as this plan is, we might have to sacrifice the half-hour to get a chance at RSR; if you don't go in the first few minutes of operation, you're stuck in a 120-minute line that stretches all the way through Cars Land. (Or pay for ILL, i know, i know.) Thoughts? Can anyone who's been in DCA during EE shed some light?

I think what guests do during EE depends on how early they arrive for EE.
If you are there early enough you should try and experience one attraction before you head to RSR before park opening.

I bet you're right -- we are ridiculously dedicated to being first (not for the sake of being FIRST! but because that's how you get to do the most stuff before everything clogs up), so my H might get me to agree to at least do one other ride first, lol.

I think it really depends in the family and what they like, but yes I have seen many ppl run to RSR same as with DL many ppl run to line up for GE during EE while many others are running to SM and other rides that are open. We opt to go to the rides that are open we used to always do RSR with a Max pass but now we just go at night. We went at closing time and it said wait time was over 1 hr but it was more like 40 min because there were no more LL ppl that were being let through at that point.

I always RD RSR with or without EE. I'd be interested in knowing what the wait time has been for RSR is if you line up at the end of EE before the RD for people who don't have EE.

It's more frequent to see RSR and Rise down at park opening than not IMO. We made it to two EE last trip, one in DCA. We rode Guardians 4 times in a row with no wait, it's one of our favorites. Went to RSR at rope drop, it was like a 30 min wait. it was nice to get that many rides on Guardians out of the way. At 45 min waits (probably on the low end) later in the day, that's 3 hours saved.

Were the regular entry people already through the gates when you went to the RSR rope drop or was it the EE people lining up that made it a 30 minute wait? Trying to wrap my head around a new RD strategy.
