early entry on 4th of july

EE is scheduled for magic kingdom on 4th of july. The park hours state they open at 8 a.m. Does that mean that ee begins at 7 a.m. or will they change the ee schedule.

Early entry takes place "one hour prior to regularly scheduled park opening." Since park opening is scheduled for 8am on July 4, early entry should begin at 7am.

Yes if they keep the same EE schedule it will open at 7:00 for onsite guests. However be sure to check on that when you arrive. We had planned to do EE at MK on Christmas, but due to the large crowds they expected there that day, they switched the EE schedule for the week(Wed-Thur were reversed). I believe I heard they did that on Thanksgiving last year too.
