Early entry now showing as 7am at Universal for mid October dates

My dates are 14th-24th October

When I last checked early entry was 8am at I of A for our dates.

Touring plans now has early entry at 7am at Universal. This is the same as last October.

i would expect crowds in the parks if they are doing early entry at 7:00 am...

Info is showing on touring plans (I subscribe not sure how much info is public v subscription only)
I only checked last week so it has changed very recently.
We were onsite at cabana bay last year from 18th October for 7 nights. Same early entry at universal 7am (regular entry is 8am) we found crowds ok no real lines except minions and Hp.

Just got back and early entry was at 7am for the Studios. I think it had to do with HHN cutting into the regular park hours.

7am suits us as Brits, certainly for the first few days whilst we are on UK time. 7am = 12 midday to us

Or does it mean that hotel guests will get in 2 hours before everyone else (7 am vs. 9 am)?

Also (and please excuse my ignorance here) . . . just checked the US official website, and the park calendar shows IoA opening at 9 am in October, but US opening at 8 am.

But I thought IoA is the early opening park this time of year? Or is it in fact US?

8:00 for USF and 9:00 for IOA has become the typical general admission opening times for late Sept./Early October. With HHN requiring USF to close at 5:00, they open it up an hour earlier to give more time in the park. That is why people are reporting a 7:00 EE for USF. That would be an hour before the 8:00 opening time.

Yes October hours are showing as 8am-5pm most days for Universal (Early Entry 7am)
Islands of Adventure 9am-8pm most days

For those of you who did the 7am EE, what time did you get to the bus? I am also wondering what the best route to Diagon Alley is or if there is even an option during EE? FYI... I read that the Studios side is EE for HHN dates and IOA is EE for non-HHN dates in Sep/Oct.
