So I'm a little miffed that EE is now every day of the week for Disney hotel guests. I can understand why Disney did it, but I just can't afford those prices even with discounts. I'd rather spend the money on a longer trip or souvenirs. We just aren't in our hotel room that much to justify the cost.
Anyway, we are going Sept 9th-14th and according to Touring Plans, the crowds should be pretty low then (at least compared to summer crowds). I'm wondering how crowded EE will be and how much it will affect us. Will I even notice? With the shorter hours, we will definitely get to the entrance early. I have a 2 year old who is too short to ride RSR, so essentially we will have to wait twice. I plan to use FP and of course the baby swap, but it sounds like the wait with FP can even be long (at least compared to what we are used to for FP). I know if I was there right now, I would be really frustrated having to wait about 30 min to get a FP in the first place, then wait another 30 min in the FP line and then wait a 2nd 30 min in the FP line for the person who waited with the 2 year old the first time. It won't be a problem for the rest of the group to go elsewhere while the last person rides, but I still feel like it is wasted time.
I plan on stalking this board once the crowds drop at the end of August to get a better idea of how RSR is going with the smaller crowds, but thought I might get some opinions now. FYI, I plan on 2 days at each park.
