Early Entry for Transformers

According to a few other forums , Universal Studios will have early entry from July 1-Sept 2nd for Onsite and partner hotel vacation PACKAGE guests ( you need to book a pkg at a partner hotel to be eligible) for Transformers.It is rumored Despicable me will also be operating for early entry

Rip Ride Rocket may also be open..I am so excited since we will be there end of August so we get early entry for 2 parks

Last year DM and Shrek were open for EE. It really does not matter for RRR since it has express now.

We will be there again from end of June to July 7 th, Transformers here we come.

Not sure I understand what is ment by "Package" though as we booked the HRH through Lowes and got our ticket from Undercover Tourist...will that make a difference? We are there the middle of August and would love to have early entrence to both HP and Transformers!

The package is for offsite partner hotels. If you are staying onsite you need you room key and a ticket to the parks. It does not matter what ticket but a valid one.

Onsite resort guests automatically get early entry.It is people staying offsite that need to book a pkg thru the partner hotel to get the early entry.Meaning you can't just book an offsite hotel and get the early entry

For the Studios, as of now yes.They did the same thing with Despicable me.

I know HP and RRR don't have FOTL access, will transformers have it? I will be checking out of a disney hotel the morning we arrive at Royal Pacific in August and will be unable to take advantage of early entry.

RRR and DM both have express. RRR was added a few months ago. Also the word is Transformers will have express. The signs are already up at the entrance.

Just a reminder...Passholders receive early entry into IOA for HP through September 2nd. So there will be more people to deal with this summer. I haven't seen anything about early entry for Passholders for the Studios though. Only June 9-16 for the previews of Transformers.

Early entry for passholders is going on June 9-16 for the previews of Transformers. Soft openings are open to everyone now. The ride will be open before you arrive and early entry will be gone...unless you're staying onsite.

Thanks, I'm going back and forth about whether or not to stay onsite one night or not. We have 7 days so I'm sure we will get on it even if we don't stay onsite

the third week of june isn't as crowded as the 4th of July...........

crowds will become more intense last week of june.



with the new simpsons, and transformers, i am thinking crowd levels will be greater this year in mid to late June.

it's only a guess.


we really won't know how the crowds and touring plans will be until after the new rides become open.


to be on the safe side, and if it is possible, do a one night stay in the middle of your 7 day trip.
you'll get 2 days of EE since you have ap's.
in case of crowds, you'll have a better chance of lesser waits and be able to get a lot done in the park.

the sweet thing about staying onsite for one night, you'll be able to take a break back at the hotel when the heat starts building up.
