Hi everyone!

I have been studiously reading all of the posts here for the past month and now I have a question.

I booked a hotel package through Universal which is eligible for early entrance to WWoHP. Everything that I've read here regarding early entrance pertains to those who are staying at one of the onsite hotels - you would just flash your room key.

How does that work if I'm not staying onsite? Will the hotel provide a special key that I use to gain early entrance? I know that I'm not eligible for FoTL access which is fine, we just want to get in early.

Also, does anyone know how long it takes to get from Universal to the airport?

Thanks for any help.

I would assume it would be just like the onsite you would show your room key since they are a partner hotel they should have something of universal on it cause we have stayed at the doubletree at the entrance to universal and thier room key cards have something of universal on it and we usually use a car service to go to the airport and usually takes about 30 mins
Hope this helps :thumbsup2

We went on 12/1 with an offsite hotel booked through UV with the WWoHP package. We picked up our tickets, etc at the manned ticket kiosks outside the Port of Entry the night before. We got tickets that had UPRV printed on the back. That was the magic entry code for the WWoHP package. We had to show the back of the ticket and that was all.

Here is a link to the first page of our blog entries about the trip.

So, can I assume that even though I AM staying at a partner hotel, since I booked it and tickets from expedia that I will NOT get the early entry priveledge? Darn! I just couldn't justify the difference when booking between the two almost $350 higher with Universal vs. Expedia.

Thanks!

You have to be booked on the Harry Potter Package to get early entry if staying off site at a Partner Hotel. Just staying at a Partner does not give you early entry, it is a bonus to get people to book with Universal.

That's my understanding as well. :thumbsup2
