Early Entrance for Character Breakfast AK

I am looking at doing the character breakfast at AK. How much earlier than the park opening can I do it? After we are done do we just wait there for the park to officially open? We one day left on our park hopper and we are trying to hit three parks in one day. We thought that this would be a good fit into the strategy. We'd get there early, get some food, and wouldn't have to wait with a huge crowd at the front of the park.

I believe it is one hour (8am if park opens at 9am). Best to call the Disney Dining to be certain. We did the AK breakfast in the past. After we were finished, they held us in Dinoland until the park was opened. Don't know if this has changed.

If you are driving, park at the Animal Kingdom Lodge (bear left instead of follow the main road into the toll plaza and main parking lot. Tell the guard you are visiting. Take the bus from the 'Lodge to AK.

Do not wait at the toll plaza for it to open and above all do not wait where others can block your car from backing out or driving on through.

Should you end up at a closed toll plaza by mistake, go to a lane with nobody in front, ask for help if possible, but escape using any possible path anyway.

Seashore - what's the problem with parking at AK? My ADR is at 8:00, the parking lot opens at 7:30 AM, I wouldn't have thought that would be a problem?
