Hello everyone!

We can't wait to return to UO in early December, using the 5-day passes. We LOVE UO, and are bringing parents and siblings who have never been! This is gonna be great! We rented a house, so no FOTL.

Here are my questions:

1. How long should be anticipate the lines to be with no FOTL, mid-week in early December? I know Shrek, Mummy and Spidey will be long no matter what, but what about the majority of the rides?

2. We need recommendations for a nice family dinner (11 people) for one evening. Not overly pricey...just somewhere we can wind down after a great day in the parks together. Suggestions in the parks or hotels appreciated. If you know a good breakfast, I'd like that, also.

Thanks for the replies. Hoping for a warm day or two...can't miss Popeye, Dudley or Curious George!!!!

In early December it should be that bad. I would expect about hour long waits for Mummy and Spidey. But it all depends on schools and such.

A nice place for a family in the park for a REALLY good meal would be Mythos, it's full service it might get a little pricey with 11 but it is well worth it. Hope you enjoy your self.
:yo-yo:

The first two weeks in December will not be busy. It doesn't get busy until school lets out around mid-December.

We never waited more then 10 mins for any rides (including Spidey) 2 yrs ago! We were only there for a day, arrived around 9:30, and US first. That was in the first week of Dec.

Last year we were at US on the first Fri, Sat and Sunday in December. There were almost no lines at all! Granted, not sure how The Mummy will efect crowds, but I think the longest line we saw all weekend was for Jimmy Neutron at about 20 minutes,

I agree with Disney Dee, i also have been in early December (during the week) and there were virtually no waits for ANYTHING....10 minutes tops! You have picked a fabulous time to go. As a matter of fact, I'm going then too and am staying offsite also. Have fun!!

I was there last year the 1st week of Dec and the waits were 5-10 minutes on most rides. A lot of them were basically how fast you could walk through the empty queues to get to the rides. I think we used express pass once since we were too lazy to walk through the empty lines. The longest wait we had ws 30 minutes to see the Grinch - cute picture, NOT worth the wait!

Thank you all for the GREAT news!

Any suggestions about a meal? I think Mythos might be over the budget. Restaurants in the hotels would work, too, if anyone has suggestions.

Thanks again!
