Early December crowd levels

I'm looking at making a quick weekend trip down to the parks on the weekend of December 9-11 (or so.) I've been to WDW in early December, but not to Disneyland. I imagine it probably doesn't get too crowded until it gets closer to Christmas (and then the week between Christmas and New Year's Day is generally just ridiculous) but I'd be interested to know what to expect for crowds. I'll probably be taking it easier than I usually do on my Disney trips so I'm not quite as concerned about getting in a bunch of rides and shows, but I'd prefer not to have to wade through wall-to-wall people at the same time.

It will be busy like all weekends are at DLR. It is not going to be insane like Christmas week.
