Early December Aulani / Oahu

My wife and I just booked a couple weeks at Aulani in early December. We’ve been many times, but never this time of year. Does anyone know if there are any fun holiday events, sights, foods or local traditions to be experienced around Oahu? Of course we plan on vegging out on the beach as well, but I think it will be fun to experience at least a sense of the holidays, and see how Hawaii does Christmas (or at least pre Christmas), while we’re there.

We have been on Oahu a couple of times in early December and one of my families favorite things is the Honolulu City Lights. Info on this page:

I think there is a parade in Kapolei in early December. We caught a local
Christmas parade in Kona, Big Island one year and it was so fun, my kids still talk about it.

There are lots of Christmas decorations up in different places and it really gets you into the holiday spirit.
I don't know when Aulani puts theirs up though.
