We are staying at WDW from Nov 30th to Dec 12th. We have one day planned to visit Seaworld on Dec 9th. From what I've read the Christmas shows are at night and not on a Thursday. Are there any Christmas events during the day? It's not a priority for us but it would be nice to see something Christmassy when we are there. We don't want to change our day as we have ADR's booked at WDW on other days and the 9th is the last day we will have our car.:)

Unfortunately, The Christmas themed shows (Shamu Christmas Miracles, Clyde And Seamore countdown to Christmas, The Ice Skating show, and Holiday Reflections Fireworks show) will not be shown on that Thursday. However, I would keep an eye on the schedule starting in November. It looks as if the park hours have been changed from 6pm to 7pm for weekdays and it is dark at 7pm in December. There maybe a chance that the shows will be on for that Thursday. Last year this wasnt the case. But it may be this year. We'll see.

But if there are no night shows, you can still enjoy many Christmas themes around the park. You will have christmas decor all around the park. Costumed characters like Shamu dressed as Santa. Even Santa himself will offer a photo op. Some of the day show sets will be decorated with Christmas decor. I know Pets Ahoy and Clyde and Seamore day show sets had Christmas decor last year. However it was the normal show and not a Christmas themed show.

The best part is that the motion simulator ride, "Wild Arctic" will be transformed into "The Polar Express" and will be a simulator ride based off of the popular movie. This ride will last every day from the day after thanksgiving until New Years.

Hope your family has a great time!

I had planned my days for Disney and made my ADR's then left Dec 9th to go to Sea World. Then I found out that Sea World is open until 11 and have special Christmas stuff for the weekend. So I rearrange my schedule to go on Dec 4

Thanks for the replys. We probably could make the change to the 4th as we have a breakfast ADR on both days so could just swap the remaining plans. Will talk it over with the family and see what they think.
