Early Dec. Crowds?

It does! Sorry to all the others for the confusion. I didn't realize they didn't do wishes when they had MVMCP.

I was trying to figure why that was the only day!

I thought that the Christmas Fireworks were still FITS with a bit more added, not Wishes? Or am I thinking of the Halloween party? Or just plain confused????

If Wishes is during MVMCP then should I just go back to my original plan and go to Epcot on Monday and MK on Thursday????

lovetoscrap

would spending the day at MK the day of the the party be too much in one day for you??....Thats what we are doing....going to AK Monday at EE and after the parade heading to MK for the Fireworks and Spectro....We only have 4 day hoppers too....

I remember last year when we made reservations in August for the first week of December. There were no value resorts available that week! We were very worried because we planned on low crowds.

We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived on Dec. 8th. MK wasn't busy at all the whole week. Epcot was virtually empty as was AK. I remember the busses coming through POR were pretty empty, escpecially Epcot and AK busses. MGM was the busiest we encountered, and even that was very manageable. I know that Pop Warner attracts tens of thousands of people, and most if not all stay in value resorts. We didn't really see many of the kids in the parks during that week.

The bottom line is that no one will really know what the crowds are like until we get there.

According to the Mickey Monitor for Annual Passholders, the fireworks at MVMCP WILL be Wishes. Although there's nothing wrong with catching Wishes twice during your trip!!

I believe it will be a special version of Wishes, like they do during MNSSHP. We caught that this year and the show isn't exactly the same for the party as it is during the rest of the week. Not sure though.

Which is the least busy day for MVMCP? I mean, day of the week and least busiest date...any ideas out there?

Lori

Sunday and Tuesday are the least crowded for MVMCP. Earlier in the month should be less crowded than the last week it is held.

One thing to remember there will be cheerleader competitions at the same time so alot of teams will be in and around the parks.

I definately hope that is the way it happens this year. We will be at WDW the weekend of the 10th - 12th. My husband decided to surprise me last minute and tell me he wanted us to take the kids to the MVMCP. I have been trying for a week now to get reservations and there is NOTHING available. I can not find any available hotel for Friday night and ended up with Saturday night at All Star Sports. I keep having to check with Disney twice a day to see if anything has come available for Friday. And to think Disney has this time of year listed as their "slowest" (HA Ha), I have been able to call last minute all year long even during peak season and find rooms. "O" well at least we'll be at Disney, right?!

Dana, I know how you feel. We put a last minute trip together about 3 weeks ago when airfare fell for Dec. 10-13. I called CRO and got a CM reservation for the A/S sports and it was the ONLY thing available at the CM rate (except suites). I called daily trying for something else, but it was nice having something. Definitely it was the 10th causing the problem. Finally this week it paid off. I had been asking for AP or CM rates, but also checking the online site for rack rate and NOTHING there either. But happily I got the BW at a CM rate, so my calling finally paid off. whew! Never stayed there, so will be something new for us. I wish you luck calling!
