Early Check in?

We will be arriving around noon on Wednesday. What are our chances of checking in and getting a room then? We are staying in OKW 1 bedroom villa. We have requested two doors to the bathroom and a top floor unit. We will be stopping for groceries on the way and would like to get them put away. Do they have a refrigerator - freezer to keep stuff in until the rooms are ready? I really dont want to waste our first day waiting for the room. What would you suggest, hanging out around the resort and waiting for the room, or going to the parks?

If you do a search you will find a very recent thread about early check in.

I would go and check in. They will give you your room keys and then you can head out to the parks. If the room isn't ready you can call to check on it.

If you have a lot of groceries that need to be kept cold I suggest calling the resort before you go shopping. That way you will know if they have room in the frig. Otherwise you could buy a cheap cooler.

They do have a refrigerator/freezer to store your groceries until your room is ready. Since you have some preferences attached to your reservation, it makes getting your room early a *little* harder (but not impossible). We were able to get into our 2- bedroom at BCV at 8:00am last time!

If the room is not ready, store your groceries at the front desk and head to the parks!

There are very few 1 bedrooms on the 3rd floor, most are 1st and 2nd. Some buildings are only 2 floors or 2 floors on the ends, so you could actually have "top floor" on the 2nd floor. Buildings 30 and above have the 2nd door into the bathroom.

As far as getting in early, alot depends on how many rooms were empty the night before. If the resort was full, it takes time to clean the larger units, checkout is 11:00am.
