Hi, everybody! My husband and I are planning our first trip to Disneyworld in April and were wondering how early we can check in. We're flying in from the west, so we're staying off site the night before and want to get in as much as we can our first day. Can we do a really early check-in (like 8:00 or 9:00) and just leave our bags at the front desk? Someone told me we couldn't do an early check-in until 11:00, but that didn't sound right to me.

Thanks for your help!
Kate

We have checked in as early as 6 AM.

There is a good chance your room won't be ready especially if the resort is crowed. That won't be a problem though because you can stash your luggage with the bell captain.

Just check in, resort cards will be issued. If your room isn't done they will give you a number to call and you can find out if it is done yet. Then you can go off to the parks. At the end of the day you can go right to your room. You can have your luggage brought up.

Very easy and gets you into the parks. :)

:D

You may not be able to get into your room, but they will take your bags and issue your passes to the parks so that you can start enjoying your stay.

This is what happend to us, when we checked in early. It was not problem though.
When we came back at around 3pm we just presented the ticket that they gave us for our bags and they took them and us to our room.

We always do early check in too! A couple of times we have been able to go right to our room; but most often we just stash our luggage and hit the parks! It's really no trouble at all.:D

We've done early check-in several times and so far we have been lucky enough that our room has always been ready. I would give it a try if I were you...

we always do early check-in as well....it's the best way to start enjoying disney right away and we've also found that it's the best way to get building/room request granted....this past april, they actually had a room ready for us when we got there at 6:30am(POFQ) Wow!
