Early check-in?

I know check-in is at 1 pm for campsites but I wanted to know if you could come even earlier just to pick up your welcome stuff.
We're staying the night in a hotel off-property the night before we check-in and I was hoping to head over to the Fort in the morning to get that all settled. Is it possible to head over there earlier, has anyone done this?

I've checked in and got to my site as early as around 1030AM, but sometimes it's not prepped, but I can do that myself and just tell the gent when he comes by to go take a break.

Our typical Friday 7:30AM check-in has resulted in getting our site more often than not. We also checked-in once between 4:00AM-4:30AM when we had a hurricane evacuation warning and did get our site. Backed in, shut down, hooked up to electric and went to sleep.

I have tried to check-in as early as 4am but have been told every time to come back after 6am. I have never had a problem checking–in right at 6am.

Yes you can check in early, get your Keys To The World cards (KTTW), and head on over to the parks if you want to get in a full day there before going to your site or cabin.
