Early Booking savings honeymoon!

Sorry if this is an oft-asked question, I have tried searching, and have never had luck..

I have been to WDW several times, but never on a cruise of any kind. After searching near and far and looking at so very many options, my fiance and I really think we'd have the most fun with a few days at Disney, followed by the 3 day cruise. We'll be cruising in late August.

Both on the WDW site and another site, our quotes came up showing the "early booking savings" of nearly $2500. Is this accurate...WOW! Is it true that you really save so much money by booking this early?

Besides that...well...it's -10 degrees here right now and we are so excited for August, the wedding and honeymoon that we can hardly stand it!

(I just hope our stomachs hold up well to the ocean, and islands food and so forth!)

CONGRATULATIONS on your upcoming wedding. You made a great choice with the land and sea adventure. My husband and I were married in September of 2000 and we did the 4 day land 3 day sea trip because, like you, we had never cruised before. We fell in love with the DCL and had a great honeymoon. I recommend booking early to get better rates for the cruise and for your flight. Good Luck!

I will second your GREAT choice for a Honeymoon! We did the 3 land/4 sea and added some days on to the land on our own for an absolutely wonderful HM in 2002!! DCL treats you well on your cruise (as does WDW!) Can't help you with the early booking savings, but no matter what, book as far ahead as possible....everything! My only experience is that for the most part, prices just go up...but if they go down, your TA or Disney should grant you that discount if you are already booked (except for rebates!)
