early booking discount?

When does the early booking discount end when booking through DCL. I'm looking for a May 2004 cruise, I'm just trying to deside between 4 day or 7 day, I don't want to wait to long and miss out on the early booking discount.

With DCL there is no set end date for the early booking savings to end. They have a number of early booking savings tiers for each sailing, and as each saving tier fills up they cruise moves into a higher price category. On more popular sailing dates the cruise could move through several early booking tiers very quickly; during slower seasons it may stay at the same tier for quite a while.

The best advice is to book as SOON as you have the deposit ready to lock in the best possible price. You can always cancel any time up until final payment is due (60 days out) without penalty.

Wow... no penalty to cancel before 60 dys out... I didn't know that.....

What if you wanted to change the cruise.... Book one, then deside on the other... Do they transfer the funds..... with no penalty?

Does Dreams Unlimited do that too. I have heard many good things about them too. Can't decide who to book with..

My understanding is if you book one date, and then change to another, they will transfer your deposit to the new date. However, you may not get the same rate for the new date. You will be subject to the current price structure of that cruise. In other words, it's not so much changing your reservation as it is cancelling one and creating a new one. The only difference is that they won't bother refunding your deposit from cruise A, only to have you re-submit it for cruise B.
