If we are coming in around noon and our room isn't ready yet but we have some carryons what are we supposed to do with them if we want to explore? Will they hold them somewhere till our room is ready and our other luggage is delivered from DME?

You can leave your carry ons and whatever else you don't want to bring with you to the parks at the bell services. They'll hold it until you get back.

I tip the person when he takes the bags & if the room is not ready. I have someone to bring the bags up to room when it is ready I tip again. You don't always have same bellhop;)

We will be arriving to Disney early in the morning so I'm sure our room will not be ready. We are flying in and using the Disney express so that will take care of our regular luggage but what do I do with my purse? We are planning on going to one of the parks right after check in so I really don't want to have to keep up with it. I suppose I could just take the must haves and put them in another bag and not even bring my purse on the trip.

Decisions, decisions?!?!?

What about putting it in a locker in the park?

crazy questions-do you tip when you pick the carry on luggage back up?

Of course, everyone has different opinions on the matter, but MY general rule is that anyone who touches my luggage gets a tip.

I have a small backpack that I put a change of clothes and a few other essentials in along with a fanny pack with my credit card, cash, etc. If we get to the resort before our room is ready, I can just remove the fanny pack and leave the backpack with bell service. You could do the same with a very small purse. I know some people think fanny packs are tacky (and they are probably right :) ), but it's so easy to carry and harder to lose. We've never arrived at the resort first thing in the morning, but we often get there around 11:00AM and our room has always been ready.

That's my plan.

I bought the baggalini messenger bag that so many people here rave about. (And I can see why; I think it will be perfect!!) But I'll bring my licence, credit card, flight info etc in that; the purse stays home!!
