My family is flying in 2/8 with an arrival time of 9:20am at MCO. We will use ME to get us from MCO to our resort. Once we arrive at our resort we plan to hop on a bus to MK. Since our room will most likely not be ready when we arrive at our resort, what option do we have for our carry-on bags? This is the 1st time I am ever traveling to WDW and heading straight to a park, we usually have a travel day and relax at our resort so we never had an issue with having to worry about carry-on bags (which will be backpacks). TIA!

We were on a similar flight arrival last trip. We just left our carry-on bags (small roller and two back packs) with bell services and hit the parks!

Will bell services deliver to our room then or will we have to retrieve when we return from park?

As LM412 stated, you can leave your bags with bell services and head to the parks. You can have them delivered to your room when you return.

You will have to call Bell Services when you are in your room to deliver. They will not deliver to an empty room like DME will. We always tip for this service.

Either/or. They will deliver them, you have to be in your room when they deliver them. You can also just stop by bell services and pick them up if you don't want to go to the room first.

We have always just left our bags with bell services and just grabbed them on our way back to our room.

Every year we arrive during the same time period that you are arriving. We either leave our bags with bell services, BUT sometimes our room is already READY :flower1:

Before you drop off your bags will bell services, I would check to see if your room is ready! I had just handed off our bags and about 20 minutes later I got the text that our room was ready! I think it takes a few minutes for them to know you are at the resort sometimes to get the text message.

I would leave everything with Bell services and then stop back once you are done at the parks. They are awesome and always have everything to us really quickly. I hope that you have a fantastic trip!

Some times you do get lucky and your room could be ready. We had a similar arrival time and by the time we arrived at the resort around 11:00 our room at CBR was ready. If not, bell services can hold your bags until you return from the park. You could just delay heading to the park for a bit, grab lunch at the resort and then just double check if your room is ready before heading out. Sometimes it is nice just to explore the resort a little bit when you get there.

I've had my bags delivered to my room one time while I was at the parks. This was at Pop. I was shocked to see not only my DME bags, but the bags left with luggage service and my food put in the fridge.
