My mil has invited us to join her for a 4day land/3 day cruise package trip in October. The package officially begins on a Sunday and our hotel reservations are for the Grand Floridian. Since my dh and I will be in Orlando on Saturday we went ahead and booked a room for Saturday night at the Beach Club thinking we could just spend the day playing at Stormalong Bay. We were thinking we'd like to get up Sunday morning and go directly to Epcot for the day. My questions are as follows:

1. Will Disney transfer our luggage to the GF?
2. Will we have to go over to the GF and check in there to get our park passes for the first day of our land package? Is there a way to tie the two reservations together so we can get our park passes for Sunday at the Beach Club?

Any information or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Yes, they will move your luggage (let them know when you're checking in and they'll give you the instructions) and yes, you'll have to go to the GF first to get your park tickets. It shouldn't take long to do. We had to do that when we did the land/sea package and came in the night before. I just went to the TTC from the WL and walked over to the Poly, checked in and we were off. I got there about 7:30 am and had no problems. The room wasn't ready yet but we just went on to the parks! When we came back later that day, our luggage was there (transfers can take until the late afternoon).

Thanks Dopeygirl!
Would we all need to go to the GF to get the passes? My two kids will be 3 and 5 so it'd be better if one of us grownups could just run over and pick them up. Do they let you do that or would they need everybody to be there? I'm a bit worried that once my daughter sees Cinderellas castle she isn't going to be willing to go anywhere but MK!

I'm not sure....I went to the Poly and picked up the passes for both my husband and I (he was sleeping in) but I'm not sure if that is the way they are supposed to do it. We just had to stop by later so he could sign his documents and such.
