Early arrival - Carry-on luggage drop?

HI. Just a quick question. We will be arriving at WDW around 9am due to an early flight. Since our room will most likely not be ready yet, we were wondering what we can do with our carry-on luggage. Will the resort keep it for you? I have two kids and we really do not want to be carrying around three backpacks all day and DH is too cheap to rent a locker. Has anyone else been through this?

SSR will keep it locked up for you until your room is ready. If they do it, I would imagine that all WDW resorts will! I would call and double check, but I am sure they will. Have fun!

We always do this because we are also on the early flights--more time in the park! They check anything you want. We have even had them deliver it when they bring our luggage from Magical Express to our room.

Bell Services will keep it for you.

I have done this at many different Disney resorts. They will either keep it for you to retrieve or have it sent to your room when your room is ready

that's always what we do - arrive, check in, change into "park attire" in the rest rooms, drop off the luggage at bell services and off we go!

Every halfway decent hotel in the USA will store your bags for you prior to check-in time on check-in day, as well as after check-out time on check-out day. WDW resorts are no exception.

Dawn, if you have anything of value, by all means ask for a locker. They are free at the resorts when you check in. I used one at the BC last year. They will ask you some information, have you sign something and then give you a key. Simple. No cost.

what do travelers do with laptops and laptop cases, etc? do you just leave that with Bell Services? Or are the lockers available for that as well? We'll be staying at Yacht Club.

The lockers are available for anything you want, especially things of value. Yes, you can store you laptop there too. I had travelers checks and some cash I wanted to store, so we could just go to the pool for the day. No problem.

Great! Thanks for the info. I'll check the suitcases with the bell services, I"ll throw the laptop in a locker, and we'll grab the camera case and head to the parks! Appreciate the info.
