Early am at AK

I plan to get to AK when they open with a 3 and 5 year old. Could my husband and I ride Expedition Everest right away and still meet grandma and our kids at the Safari's while there is still a short line (and no need for a fast pass) or would I be better off getting a fast pass for say 10?

Or should we head straight to the Safaris and fast pass EE later in the day?

Those are the two most popular things to do at AK. And the line is pretty long with in an hour of park opening. I would head right to Safari but also FP EE and Kilimanjaro Safari that way you can do the Safari twice
